1987-1989  University of North Carolina at Greensboro   Greensboro, N.C.  Completed 17 credit hours towards an MFA in art.  Also picked up 10 undergraduate hours in various art courses.

 

1978-1983  Appalachian State University  Boone, N.C.   BA degree in art specializing in painting.  Minor in psychology.

Related Experience

1983-1996   Owned and operated my own business.  From 1983-1992 the business was called Lucreations.  This business consisted of one of a kind cards, masks, and jewelry.  From 1992-1996 the business was called Microspore Mother Cell.  Works of art sold in this business consisted of jewelry, sculpture, paintings, and picture frames.  Both of these businesses were promoted by attending retail art and craft shows and by establishing several wholesale accounts with galleries.
